About ..

Almost 50 years ago I married Clara. She is many things but one of those things is she is a quilter. She doesn’t quilt as much as she did in the past, but it is still her passion. She was taught by her grandmother.

Consequently, I have visited a lot of quilt shops in Texas and New Mexico. We were once in Paris France on vacation, and she located what I believe is the only quilt shop in Paris and we had to go there.

A few months ago, we visited Holly Dee Quilts, a quilt shop in Luling, Texas. It was a good one. It even has a comfortable place for “husbands” to sit and relax. Most people know that I publish Football Stadiums on my websites. I currently have about 5,266 listed across the different websites. To help my wife locate Quilt Shops, as we travel around Texas, I decided to publish a list of all the quilt shops in Texas. I have identified about 150. It is a work in progress.
